 The VIP Guest Enclosure
All types of VIP tickets get you access to the CIAS VIP Guest Enclosure. Admission to the Canadian National Exhibition is INCLUDED in your VIP ticket price. Our VIP Guest Enclosure is set-up on the east side of Marilyn Bell Park, right on the water. You have a direct line-of-sight to the phenomenal feats of aviation going on over Lake Ontario. It's also the area where you are most likely to find the pilots signing autographs after their performances. 

CIAS Air Show Displays and Vendors
Various performers and exhibitors are bringing their  cool displays to the VIP Guest Enclosure. These displays are set-up so that our VIP guests can speak to and get autographs from various performers and crew members and get an inside look at cool vendors and exhibitors.

Food & Concessions
There will be dedicated food concessions (in addition to vendors and exhibitors) all within the VIP Guest Enclosure.

Kids
Babes-in-Arms (2 years of age and younger) are granted FREE admission when accompanied by a parent/guardian to the VIP Enclosure.  At this time due to the limited number of seats, no further discount is available for children.

Wheelchair Accessibility
The CIAS VIP Guest Enclosure is wheelchair accessible and also includes accessible washroom facilities.

Weather
We love Mother Nature - However, she's been known to have a tantrum or two.) You should know that all performers have high, low and flat shows that can accomodate for different kinds of weather.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer ticket refunds. Rest assured, though, that the CIAS is a rain-or-shine event. If the performers aren't pulling Gs and twisting through the air, they'll be in the VIP Flight Deck sharing a drink and stories of aerobatic awesomeness with you.

The Big Tent - Don't worry about the weather - because we've got you COVERED! Literally. This year the CIAS VIP ticket area will feature a Ginormous-Franken-Tent (think Big Tent) to protect you from the all elements.

Rain or Shine, it doesn't matter.  IF . . . again IF . . . the weather prevents air show flying (don't forget performers have manoeuvres packages that facilitate their demonstrations in flat, high and low shows) there's gonna be a VIP Ticket ONLY party under the tent. 

To the best of our knowledge, no other air show has done anything similar. We refuse to let any sort of weather dampen a potentially great time. That means, regardless of weather forecasts, you get the chance to hang out with some of the best pilots in the world . . . meet & greet, get pictures, autographs, and hear unbelievable aviation stories.

Please don’t rely on the weather forecast to help you make up your mind.

Getting to the VIP Enclosure & Parking (Important!)
Arrive EARLY! (You'll be too excited to sleep, anyway - it's air show day.) We have zero control over traffic conditions, plus it's a holiday weekend. Again we strongly suggest you arrive early. Here are some parking suggestions . . . Parking is available at several locations close to the CNE Grounds. Marilyn Bell Parking Lot is adjacent to the CIAS VIP Guest Enclosure and parking is available there for a nominal fee.  There is also a parking lot at Medieval Times.  Parking spaces are not guaranteed and we advise you to arrive very early, as the show is extremely popular and both parking and traffic become an issue when the planes are in the sky.

Three Ticket Options

Option #1: The "CIAS VIP Flight Deck" Presented
by Air Combat Zone
With the CIAS VIP Flight Deck presented by Air Combat Zone , you get the same experience and treatment as our corporate sponsors, military VIPs, and dignitaries, all in a dedicated waterfront chalet. The VIP Flight Deck is right on the water's edge.

Catered Food & Drinks on the Flight Deck
Included in your VIP Flight Deck ticket price is catered food and an open wine and beer bar from 12:30 PM until 4:30 PM each day. You'll be well-fed and hydrated to enjoy the show. In addition, each CIAS Flight Deck ticket holder gets a copy of the award winning, internationally-recognized, Airspeed Magazine. Our show programme is once again jam-packed with incredible photography and great stories. 

At the CIAS Flight Deck you will be hosted by Air Combat Zone staff, enjoy chances to win awesome air show SWAG and perhaps be visited by some CIAS performers and crew.

2012 Flight Deck Upgrades!
We've taken your survey suggestions and integrated them into this year's CIAS VIP Experience. Here's an overview of the 2012 Upgrades ...

• Air Show Photography 101 Workshop (FLIGHT DECK ONLY)
  This 20-minute session covers the basics of getting great air show photographs with ANY camera. The session will be presented by professional air show photographers with hundreds of show shoots under their belts. This special session will occur before the show, each day - more details to come - so you can use your new skills to shoot your best air show shots during the show.  (I just might sit in on this session!)

• Performer Autograph Table (FLIGHT DECK ONLY)
  Based on your feedback, we're going to set-up a dedicated autograph table in the Flight Deck. Performers will still mix and mingle with you during the show. But, we want to make sure there is a better way for everyone to meet and greet some of the best pilots in the world.  As always, we'll be making announcements when performers are in the Flight Deck.

• TONS of Fantastic Swag (FLIGHT DECK ONLY)
  This is the best selection of SWAG the Flight Deck has ever given out! It includes performer SWAG - T-Shirts, Baseball Caps, Coffee cups and MORE!  Given out by random table draws each day. SWAG also makes for great autograph material and photo opportunities. (I have it on personal record that a few teams will be making their way into the Flight Deck to sign off on prize packs for lucky winners.)

CIAS Flight Deck - Pricing
Non-Insiders can purchase tickets, if they still remain, for $225.00 CAD per person.

We are offering CIAS Insiders a $65.00 per-ticket-discount
for the CIAS VIP Flight Deck.  CIAS Insider Discount Flight Deck Tickets are $160.00 CAD per person, per day. All CIAS Insider ticket discounts END, Friday August 31st at 11:59 PM EDT. After that, VIP tickets are full price - if tickets remain!

If the Flight Deck isn't for you, we have created a second option...Preferred Seating gets you into the VIP Guest Enclosure and upfront seating. You do not need to bring your own lawn chair or blanket, because we provide you with your own seat.

We have cordoned-off a section inside our VIP Enclosure where ONLY Preferred Seating ticket holders will be seated.  You have access to food and drink that you are welcome to purchase from our great on-site vendor.

The tickets for sale are not assigned to a specific seat, but Preferred Seat ticket holders will be seated in the restricted, reserved area.
