A native of Victoriaville, Dan’s aviation journey began with gliders at 16 and took flight through the Canadian Forces, where he gained his first aerobatic experience. With over 11,000 flight hours—including 1,500+ in the CJ6—Dan has flown everything from gliders to corporate jets. He served as Chief Pilot for the Northern Lights Aerobatic Team, and then created YakAttack Air Shows which rebranded to Time Flies Air Shows.
As a dedicated airshow performer and Aerobatic Competency Evaluator, Dan brings unmatched expertise and passion to every routine. The Nanchang CJ6 is a classic military trainer first built in China in the late 1950s. This aircraft features a 33 ft wingspan, 27 ft length, and a 285hp engine. It can reach speeds up to 230 mph, operate at altitudes as high as 17,000 ft, and handle up to +6/-3 G forces.
