PERFORMER

Marco Rusconi & The P-51 Mustang ‘Cheryl Lynn’

We’re thrilled to welcome Marco Rusconi to the CIAS 2025 lineup! 🇨🇦 A former Canadian Snowbird pilot, Marco is bringing his unmatched skill and precision to the skies of Toronto with his aerobatic display in the legendary P-51 Mustang ‘Cheryl Lynn’.

The legendary North American P-51 Mustang made its first flight in October 1940. One of the most numerous military aircraft built in history, 15,586 Mustangs were produced in over 20 variants. Many survive on the warbird circuit today. Marco grew up in Italy and learned to fly on a Tiger Moth. He is a former RCAF pilot and instructor and was Snowbird #4 and #7 between 2008 and 2011. He acquired a 1952 Harvard and joined the Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team, debuting its 4 plane display in 2014. Marco joined the Stallion 51 Team as a P-51 instructor in 2017, and has been flying with Louis Horschel, owner of ‘Cheryl Lynn’, ever since. Earlier this year, Marco and the P-51 became a part of the Jack Aces P-51 Mustang aerobatic team officially making it a 3-ship team.

We can’t wait to welcome Marco and this historic aircraft to the CIAS in 2025!
