Supermarine Spitfire

We are incredibly thrilled to announce that Vintage Wings of Canada is bringing their Victory Flight Fighter Formation Team and the legendary duo of WWII icons to the Canadian International Air Show line-up: the fierce Supermarine Spitfire and the historic Hawker Hurricane. These two aircraft are famously known as the aerial defenders of the Battle of Britain. Seeing either one of them fly today is incredibly rare, but witnessing them share the same airspace over the Toronto skyline is a bucket-list moment for any aviation enthusiast.
Based out of Gatineau, Quebec, Vintage Wings of Canada is a world-class flying museum dedicated to acquiring, restoring, and maintaining a premier collection of historically significant Canadian warbirds. More than just static displays, these beautifully preserved aircraft take to the skies as a living tribute to the heroism and sacrifice of the veterans who flew them. By bringing the sights and sounds of aviation history directly to the public, Vintage Wings ensures that Canada’s rich military aviation legacy continues to inspire generations to come.
